Customer-specific HV Power Supplies

Each high voltage / high current application has its own requirements with respect to the power supply. Whatever your requirements are, based on our concepts for electrical circuits and modules for power outputs from 16 kW up to several hundred kW, we are able to react upon every customer specification.

• output voltage up to 200 kV
• controlled output power

• increased requirements with respect to weight and size
• integration into equipment cabinets, including protective devices and safety systems or a full pulse generator
• increased controlling accuracy (depending on the time behavior up to 10^-5)
• potential free output (simple change of polarity, series connection)

At the same time we take all efforts to keep our HV power supplies to the state-of-the-art with respect to power factors, mains filters, energy density, compact design and efficiency.

High voltage capacitor charging

If designed as charging device, the charging rate at 0–100% charging is half the maximum of the power output. For a 60 kW device, the mean charging rate is 30 kJ/s in this operation mode, but in recharging mode or in constant voltage mode maximum power output of 60 kW can be achieved.
