SMU COMPACT series
Optimized for industrial production
SMU COMPACT stands for a type of electromagnetic forming machines which has to be configured in optimum accordance to the forming task. This machine contributes to the broad range of applications and a corresponding range of different energy requirements.
The standard design for industrial series production offers configurations from 9kJ to 48kJ machine cabinets including the corresponding number of switchable 3kJ capacitor banks. The maximum voltage of below 8kV allows the efficient use of maintenance free solid state switches.
Other properties of the capacitor banks in customer-specific design can be used as configuration basis as well.
